Since she was a kid, Dakota always wanted to live in Manhattan. After graduating college, she worked for a summer as a bartender back in the Fl. Keys - socking away money to finally make the big move. In September 2011, she moved to the city with an unpaid internship and no job. As fate would have it, she found a job at Hudson Station - a bar directly across the street from Liam's precinct. The first time Dakota really noticed him, she asked one of the waitresses, "Who is that guy? He looks so familiar. Does he work here too?" The reply was, "Who, him? Hah no, he's a bar stool here. A regular." Funny enough, this is exactly how Dakota's parents met in Coconut Grove, Fl. in 1985. They began dating in March 2012 and it would be another 6 years until Liam would get down on one knee. "When's he proposing?" "Does he believe in marriage?" "What's he waiting for?" The never ending questions when you've been dating anyone over a year. And through the 6 years we definitely heard them all. Meeting at 23 and 24 years old meant we still had a lot of growing to do. We've grown and we've changed but we've done it all together and because of it, we've become the best of partners. We are so grateful for the outpouring of love we've received since our engagement. We cannot wait to make it official this October in front of all of our families and our closest friends. We put this website together to answer any questions you might have about the festivities, introduce you to our (wedding) party people, and push our favorite spots in the city on you. If you have any questions - please give us a shout!
