Jennifer Rodriguez

Bride

Dakota Lambert

Groom

Aranza Perkovich

Matron of Honor

Jennifer has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. We met in elementary school, we connected & formed a lasting friendship! In middle school, our bond deepened as we both took theater, performing together in a lip syncing competition making one of our favorite memories. As we entered high school, life pulled us in different directions, but she was always someone I considered a friend. Our paths crossed again after in college, & it was as if no time had passed! Perhaps the most incredible twist of fate was when Jennifer introduced me to my husband, who happened to be her fiancé Dakota’s best man. That moment intertwined our lives even further, making her feel more like family than just a friend. Through it all, we have been a source of support & understanding for each other, always cheering one another on through every step of our journeys. She has been such a constant, unwavering presence in my life, & I am beyond grateful for the years of friendship, sisterhood, & love that we have shared. She is one of the strongest, kindest, and most genuine people I know, & I couldn’t be happier to see her step into this new chapter of her life. Watching her find the love she deserves and getting to stand by her side as she marries the man of her dreams is truly an honor. I know that this is only the beginning of a beautiful future for her, & I can’t wait to celebrate every moment of it with her.

Alex Perkovich

Best Man

Dakota and I met during our time at UNT where he would regularly carry me through our comp sci classes. We formed a friend group that would regularly indulge in the finest cuisine the university had to offer, chicken tenders. We now fondly refer to our group as the Tendie Boys. We all still get together and keep in regular contact which is incredibly since it can be difficult to maintain relationships after graduation. Dak and I got to spend a lot of time together while commuting on the DCTA train and bus. It was nice spending that time with him, especially on the occasion the bus ran late resulting in us missing the train and having to wait over an hour sometimes for the next one. After graduating I was having a hard time landing a job. Dak took the time to help me better prepare for interviews. He would come over or get on a call with me for hours and go through possible interview topics. He would got through practice questions with me and write out examples. He helped to build my confidence and stay motivated in my search which resulted in me finding landing a position where I still work today. Dak has been there for me through a lot and always maintains a positive and encouraging attitude, regardless of the situation. I am truly lucky to have him as a friend and am honored to be his best man.

Nely Martinez

Maid of Honor

Nely, that looks bad... Dámelo!” Jen protested. I was trying—and, as Jennifer put it, failing—to make the flowers for my graduation exhibition look, well, flowery. Running on just two hours of sleep with so much left to do, I was grateful when Jen generously offered her talent and time to help finish that part of my project. In that moment, I realized two things about her: she’s a Leo, and more importantly, someone I could truly rely on. I met Jennifer at a crossroads in my life—finishing my college degree and struggling to find my place in the world. We shared many classes and quickly became friends. I never imagined that this glitter-loving, craft-obsessed woman with beautiful, princess-like hair would come into my life, help me grow, and leave a trail of sparkle along the way. I will always be thankful to her for inspiring me to draw closer to God through the stories of her life and how her faith saved her. I thank Him for bringing her into my life because she truly is a light—one of the kindest and strongest women I have the honor of knowing and loving.

Sean Britsch

Groomsman

Dakota and I have known each other for roughly 14 years. We met through gaming and have been friends ever since. Despite being many states apart we talk pretty much every day. He was even able to make the trip out to Pennsylvania to be at my wedding in 2023. I am so incredibly thrilled and honored to be a part of his and Jennifer's wedding and cannot wait to make new great memories with some of my best friends!

Sydney Pendarvis

Bridesmaid

My first memory of becoming friends with Jennifer was on a late evening in the design lab at TWU after classes, after everyone had gone home and we were both busy working on our end of year projects. We chatted about whatever for a while, and she eventually suggested that we go get a pizza as a study snack, which was actually a bit of a rebellious thing to do since the lab had a strict no food policy. For the most part, it was the first time I’d seen her soften up and crack a smile, and it clicked for me then and there that she was going to be someone I was going to have in my life for a very long time. The pizza was also awesome so that really sealed the deal.

Devin Thomas

Groomsman

I’ve known Dakota for almost 13 years and we met through gaming and he has been one of my best pals since. We got to spend a few days hanging out at Sean’s wedding and we had a good time visiting the Philadelphia Museum of Arts, restaurants and several other locations. I’m very excited to be apart of Dakota and Jennifer’s big day!

Camille Thompson

Bridesmaid

Jennifer is one of my oldest friends! We met at church our Junior year of high school. I remember we initially bonded over our shared love of books!! I have a lot of fond memories with Jennifer, but the most meaningful thing has been the consistency in our friendship. We have had so many hang outs updating eachother about the big and small things in our life. I love you, Jennifer, and can't wait to celebrate!

Groomsman

Den 5 and Den 6 of Pack 226 of the Circle 10 council in Plano Texas were bitter rivals. As bitter of rivals can be made of 7-10 year old homeschool boys. Because of that, Dakota and I knew of each other but weren't necessarily friends from our Bobcat to Webelos years. Everything changed one fateful afternoon in Parker Texas, when my parents hosted the Arrow of Light painting ceremony. I was out playing in the creek when my mom called me back home. Some poor kid had been drug (against his will, perhaps) to this boring adult-only shin-dig...And yes, for those of you following along at home, that poor kid was Dakota Lambert. That one afternoon hanging out changed the trajectory of our friendship forever. From bowling, roaming the halls at N-TECH, Boy Scout camps, Chuck Taylors, Philmont, a shared love for cars, pulling all nighters playing Monkeyball on the gamecube with my brother Andrew, hanging out over breaks, Pokemon Go, working together at 523, to getting our first apartment together...Dakota Lambert has been one of my closest and most consistent friends. Congrats Dakota and Jennifer! Love you both and so excited for whats to come.
