Sara Bishop

Maid of Honor

Meet our Maid of Honor, Sara Bishop. Sara is a passionate E/BD Elementary School Teacher with a heart of pure gold. Sara and Alexzandra have been close ever since Alexzandra started dating her cousin Dakota, our very own groom. Countless hours of late-night Phasmophobia rounds, ramen slumber parties, and family events have kept them thicker than thieves. And they wouldn’t have it any other way. Twin flames in another lifetime, twin flames in this life, it was inevitable that Sara would be Alexzandra’s Maid of Honor. In her free time, Sara likes to take her cat Rogue on walks and crochet stress animals for her E/BD classroom.

Luis Galvis

Best Man

Meet our Best Man, Luis Galvis. Luis and Dakota met in college when they teamed up on a Final Project for their Statistics for Engineers course. You can, without a doubt, find the close pair often coding on their PC’s with a cold beer in their hands, having a blast. In his free time, Luis’ passions are playing video games with his friends, especially Apex Legends. Luis has graduated with his Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science, and is currently working on getting his Masters’ Degree in 3D Realism.

Angelina Gillespie

Bridesmaid

Meet our second Bridesmaid, Angelina Gillespie. Angelina and Alexzandra have been close friends since their Freshman year of High-school, where they met in Gym Class. Sharing their love of all things relating to The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and even the same middle name, it’s been a friendship built on years of trust, secrets, and endless love. In her spare time, Angelina likes to collect vintage/eclectic earrings, and jams to The Beatles. Did you know she also runs a side business making gorgeous flower embedded daggers?

Rick Hassan

Groomsman

Meet our second Groomsman, Rick Hassan. When Dakota started his job at the UCF Student Union, he never imagined that there he’d find a great friend like Rick. A pair of fun loving comedians, you can be sure that when they’re hanging around a humorous roast session is bound to occur. It’s all in good fun though. Rick has recently graduated with his Masters’ Degree in Nano Technology, and is current;y in the process of applying to Medical School to earn his PHD. In his free time Rick likes to chill with his pet Ball Python, Piper, and teach his friends how to perfect oil changes.

Brodi Barclay

Groomsman

Meet our third Groomsman, Brodi Barclay. Dakota and Brodi met by chance on one wild night at Dakota’s cousin’s High-School Graduation Party. Never will you meet another man as kind-hearted, or as genuine, than this man right here. Brodi is currently working towards his Informational Technology Certificate, while also scooping hefty ice-cream cones at The Ice-Cream Parlor. In his free time, Brodi can be found slaying his friends in a crazy round of Drunk Jenga, and dominating the competitive field of Ultimate Frisbee.

Holly Winters

Bridesmaid

Meet our final, but no less important, Bridesmaid, Holly Winters. Holly is currently working for her Masters’ Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. In her spare time, Holly loves to play Recreational Billiards with our Groom, Dakota, and cruise the oceans for hours. Friends from College, Holly and Alexzandra became close while hanging out at an Indie Asian Cafe when a power outage left their shared apartment building without electricity. They’re super grateful for it though. Through shared custard buns and many hours swapping romance novels out by the poolside, Alexandra couldn’t imagine a better sister than Holly. Because sisters they are, in all but blood.

Nathan Downing

Groomsman

Meet our final, but no less important, Groomsman, Nathan Downing. Nathan and Dakota met one wonderful day when they were young children, at a time when Nathan’s father fell in love with Dakota’s mother. The two have been brothers ever since. Through hard times, wonderful moments, and unforgettable memories, their bond as brothers has only strengthened. Nathan is an boy with his heart in the Tennessee Mountains. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and hanging out with his friends, cruising around Port St. Lucie as he enjoys the slow moments of life.
