Caldwell Zoo

An icon for elementary school kids in East Texas. DaJon and Jarrizze went on both field trips and family outings as children to this zoo.

Tyler Museum of Art

The Discovery Science Place

DaJon went here as a child. States the boat and caves "went hard", rec 10/10.

Tyler State Park

We grew up going here as kids with our families.

Tyler Rose Garden

Rose Rudman Park

Great park to go for a walk and a playground for children as well.

Children's Park

DaJon went here as a child with his family. Beautiful and peaceful park, great for pictures, and close to the Cathedral.

Crema Coffee Company

We went here for our first date. A planned one hour coffee date turned into a seven hour conversation and lunch. Needless to say it went well. The coffee shop is attached to the plaza where DaJon proposed to Jarrizze.

Brady's Coffee

Wonderful little place for an arrangement of fresh coffees and teas. Right around the corner from the Cathedral in a quieter part of town. 10/10 rec.

Boards and Bites Cafe

Wonderful cafe with a WIDE selection of board games of all ages.

Ribmasters - Whitehouse

If you want to know what East Texas BBQ is all about this is the place to go. We recommend the sliced brisket or ribs with any sides, rec 10/10. DO NOT GO TO STANLEY'S BBQ!!!!! Its the worst of what East Texas BBQ has to offer.

Laurel and Pearl Bakery

Specializes in the "frenchie" - think cronuts. Make sure to leave with a croissant, or Jarrizze's favorite the pain au chocolat with a cafe au lait. Make sure to come early! They sell out fast.

Daniel Boone's Grill & Tavern

Southern food staple of the Tyler area. "If you want all you can eat beans and Blue Bell ice cream come here, good golly miss dolly"- Jarrizze Santos

The Grove Kitchen & Gardens

This is where we went for our second date. This is also how DaJon bribed Spot into liking him with leftover steak.

Dajon asked Jarrizze to be his girlfriend here after taking her to Chandler to see his roots.
