FAQs

We know planning for a wedding weekend can come with a few questions — don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Below are some helpful details to make sure you’re ready to celebrate with us stress-free! If there’s anything we missed, just reach out — we’re happy to help and can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best formal or cocktail attire. Please no jeans/denim and avoid shades of white.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4 o'clock in the evening, please try to arrive by 3:30 no later than 3:45pm or you will sadly miss out on our ceremony.

Question

Can I bring a date or a plus one?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event with the exception of our immediate family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Question

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outside. The reception will take place indoors.

Question

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged ceremony" (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! The drinks are on us and the hangover is on you - get ready to celebrate!

Question

Can I bring my own adult beverages?

Answer

Due to venue policy and regulations, we are not allowed to bring any outside alcoholic beverages onto the premises. Our bartending service will be handling all beverages.

Question

What if I don't RSVP in time?

Answer

If you do not RSVP by November 17th, 2025, you will be marked as "not attending". We would love celebrating with you, however we have to provide an exact guest count to our vendors and cannot accept late RSVPs. (This will mean you not allowed to show up to our special day. There will be no seating, food, or drink accommodations for you).

Question

What should I do if I cannot make it?

Answer

You will definitely be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding, please indicate "Will Not Attend" on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly. If you have already RSVP'd "Attending", but find that you will not make it, please notify Steven or Daiquiri as soon as you are aware.

Question

Where should we park?

Answer

The Milestone Georgetown has a designated parking lot with plenty of spots at the venue.

Question

Are there any colors I should avoid wearing?

Answer

We kindly ask our guests to refrain from wearing white, ivory, champagne, or cream color attire.
