Daiquiri and Steven’s story began from opposite sides of the country — Steven in California and Daiquiri in Georgia — neither of them knowing that their person was so far away. Fate brought them together in the middle, in Austin, Texas, and from the very start, it felt like everything just clicked. They swiped right and the rest is history — After weeks of getting to know each other online, they planned their first official date for April 28, 2016 — though Steven couldn’t wait that long. The night before, he met up with Daiquiri and her friends, and from that moment, sparks flew. The next day, their first real date took them to the mall to find a 21st birthday sash for Daiquiri before heading to a local sushi spot. Steven, proudly 21, ordered a Corona, teasing Daiquiri for still being 20. Later that night, she got to meet his family — on the very first date — and Steven asked her to be his girlfriend. Bold, sweet, and unforgettable, it was the perfect start to their story. Nearly a decade later, they’ve shared countless adventures, unforgettable vacations, and endless laughter. Somewhere between California and Georgia, two hearts found their home in Texas. Today, they’re living their happily-ever-after in Liberty Hill with their two girlies — their beloved pups — still laughing, still teasing, and still just as in love as they were that very first day.
