Thomas and I have been together for nearly 10 years — officially hitting that milestone on March 19th. Our journey began back in 2016, when Thomas made the bold move of sliding into my Twitter DMs (yes, really). We first hung out that December, and from that point on, it’s been us. We both grew up attending rival high schools, but fate clearly had a sense of humor — because we both chose to attend East Carolina University, where we started building a life together in Greenville. Over the years, we’ve turned this town into our home, and post-college, we decided to stay put. Since then, we've built a life full of love, chaos, and character — complete with three incredibly needy dogs, a mortgage, too many bills, and more laughter than we can count. Now, nearly a decade later, we’re finally making it official and getting married on September 19th at the magistrate’s office in Pitt County — which also happens to be at the jailhouse. If you know either of us (or both of us as a couple), you’ll know just how hilariously fitting this is. I truly believe that what Thomas and I share is rare — a once-in-a-lifetime kind of love that only a few people are lucky enough to find. We’ve grown up together, built a life from scratch, and we’re just getting started.
