Comfortable clothes and shoes Layers - a warm jacket, especially if staying in the tents. Bathing suit and towel if you'd like to use the hot tub, sauna, cold plunge tub or the river! Sunscreen + Bug spray Toiletries for overnight guests A reusable water bottle A power bank to charge your phone (there is power in the communal lodge but not in the tents) Head lamp or flashlight for walking around at night Snacks if you think you might need them (We will be serving dinner, drinks, dessert, and breakfast on Sunday morning!)
The dress code is casual! Please wear what makes you feel best! We recommend wearing comfortable shoes as you will be walking on uneven ground outdoors. We also recommend bringing layers as the majority of the wedding takes place outside. It will be hot during the day and chilly in the evening.
The tents, which are already set up for you, measure fourteen feet in diameter and have ample headspace as well as lanterns to light up the space in the evenings. There will be a queen bed with foam top, comfortable bamboo pillows, high thread count cotton sheets, warm alpaca bedding, rugs, bedside tables and battery candles. If you would like an additional bed please let us know. The cost for this is an additional $50. The tent cost with just one bed is $100. The tents are not equipped with power, water, heat or AC. Please consider bringing a battery operated fan or extra bedding if you get too hot or cold. There will be plenty of shade around. You may also want to bring a portable power pack to keep your cell phone charged (the communal lodge with electricity is available 24 hours a day as well). Please email Kimberly at daeschek@gmail.com to reserve a tent.
Glamping tents are available to rent for $100. If you would like an additional bed added that is available for another $50. Please email us at daeschek@gmail.com to make your reservation. RV (bring your own), car camping and tent camping are free but please email us to reserve your space, especially for the limited RV and car camping spots.
There are two bathrooms with showers located in the communal lodge that are open for anyone to use 24 hours a day. We have rented the entire property for our guests only, but please try to limit your time in the lodge bathrooms and showers so others may use them as well. There are also multiple port-o-potties available throughout the property. Lastly, we have an outdoor shower beside the bath house to rinse off after using the sauna or hot tub.
Please plan to head home by noon at the latest on Sunday.
We will be serving dinner, dessert and drinks on Saturday evening, as well as an extensive breakfast Sunday morning! If you have any food restrictions, please let us know and we will do our best to provide options. You may consider bringing snack foods if you would like. For family and the wedding party coming on Friday we will be providing a rehearsal dinner. We will also have a basic continental style breakfast on Saturday morning. For lunch you might consider visiting Mollala. There will also likely be plenty of leftovers from the rehearsal dinner and breakfast that you are free to peruse!
Definitely not! Feel free to come for the day and head home when you need to! If you would rather not rough it, there are various hotel and air bnb options in the Mollala area as well.
