Marriott Charlotte City Center

THIS IS THE PREFERRED HOTEL - PLEASE MAKE YOUR RESERVATIONS ASAP. Our wedding weekend is a busy one around Charlotte and we expect hotels to fill up. The Marriott is a popular uptown hotel and WILL sell out. The Marriott is the only place shuttles are provided to the ceremony and reception - so please book your rooms early! If you plan to arrive on Friday, be sure to book both Friday and Saturday nights (4/27 and 4/28).

Omni Charlotte Hotel

The Omni is across the street from the Marriott and is a great secondary option if the Marriott is booked up. Please note that if you stay at the Omni, you'll need to come to the Marriott to catch the shuttle to the ceremony.

Shuttle to/from the Ceremony

Buses will take you to the ceremony and then to the reception venue following the ceremony. The shuttle will depart the Marriott at 4:00 PM.

Travel Note

No Need to Rent a Car!

We have arranged our weekend so that there is no need for you to rent a car! Charlotte has Uber and Lyft readily available, we are providing shuttles to/from the ceremony and reception. The reception venue and hotel are directly connected via Lynx Blue Line light rail stops. We recommend that you take Uber or Lyft to the Marriott City Center upon your arrival. If you decide to rent a car or drive your own, please expect to pay for valet parking at the Marriott.

Train

Lynx Blue Line Light Rail

Lynx Blue Line is the Charlotte light rail. It runs from Uptown Charlotte straight south to and from the reception location. Charlotte's light rail is safe and VERY simple. This is a great option for transportation back to Uptown Charlotte after the reception ends, or to help you explore greater Charlotte in your free time throughout the weekend!

Flight

Charlotte-Douglas International Airport

Charlotte has a very convenient airport located just 15 minutes from the Marriott City Center. Uber & Lyft both offer easy pick-up from the airport. American Airlines operates the majority of flights out of their Charlotte hub.
