Tremelle and I met through a mutual friend. She called me up one day and said , “Hey girl, I got someone I want you to meet.” Me: “Girl not right now I’m headed out.” She says I think he’s good for you, he’s a gentleman, he’s really cool, sweet and laid back. I said okay send him my number. He called and I didn’t answer because I was still getting dressed. I called back and we took off like a rocket. The vibe was there and within six months I moved to Memphis, Tennessee with my new man. Fast forward, I’ve always wanted a surprise party for my birthday and the party wasn’t just any surprise party. Yallllllllll, I was getting engaged. The room was decked out with my favorite flowers. All of my family, my friends, his family and his friends; everyone was there. I don’t know how they kept a secret like that from me for so long. A whole year might I add.As the night went on I went in the kitchen at Trackside Bar and Lounge. I said “Daddy you really told this man he can marry me.” He said “Yes, but Got Dammit yall ain’t married yet. My mother was crying lol. We danced the night away like we were the only people in the club. God gave us each other and we are definitely thankful for all of you.
