No. We will not be requiring proof of vaccination or proof of a recent negative COVID-19 test to attend. However, while we are so looking forward to everyone joining us on this special day, we do ask you to keep the health of others in mind. As we do have family who are immunocompromised. If you are feeling unwell or have been recently exposed to the virus, we politely ask that you take into consideration your health as well as others. We can always find time to celebrate with you after!
While the smaller private parties leading up to the wedding will be smart casual, our ceremony and reception will be cocktail/semi formal. Any color is acceptable, however, we ask that you please refrain from wearing white! Our wedding will be in June in Mobile, Alabama. The average June temperatures range from the high/mid 90’s to low 80’s, so please plan accordingly. We will be outside in a covered courtyard for about an hour, then we will be inside in the air conditioning for the remainder of the evening.
All invited guests will be named on the invitation, unless specified by “and Guest”. If your invitation does not include “and Guest”, we respectfully ask that only guests who are listed by name attend. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate any unexpected plus ones. We are at capacity and our venue simply will not allow any more guests than we have already planned for. Thank you for understanding. If you're unsure, please text Dakota or Brendan!
We ask that you RSVP no later than March 1st, 2023, if not earlier. We want to make sure that we have planned for everyone and that you have time to make arrangements if you are coming from out of town.
Both! Our ceremony will take place in a partially covered outdoor courtyard. Cocktail hour and the reception will follow the ceremony inside the museum.
As mentioned above, all invited guests will be named on your invitation. If your child is not named on the invitation, we respectfully ask that you attend without your children.
During the ceremony and specific moments during the reception we respectfully, and firmly, insist that you let our photographer take all pictures and/or videos. We are paying a good amount of money to have a photographer and while we appreciate your excitement and eagerness, we ask that you respect our wishes and our privacy. We would like to keep certain moments as unplugged as possible. Phones are welcome at the reception after dances, speeches and big photo-worthy moments are complete. We will have our wedding hashtag as well as a Dropbox for all photos and videos that are taken AFTER the photographer has completed her photos. If you would like copies of our professional photos, we would be more than happy to send the professional edits to you.
Yes! The reception and ceremony are at the same location so there will be no relocating to a different venue for the reception. There is plenty of parking right beside the venue! There is a small parking fee for the lot.
Our registry is through Zola! You can find it here on the website under the “Registry” tab. Zola will automatically mark if a gift has been purchased. If there are multiples of one gift requested, Zola will also mark how many of that gift has been purchased. Please let Brendan or Dakota know if you have any questions regarding the registry!
