We're Getting Married!

We first met on a cold hike in January 2020 that was organized by a friend. I (Desirae) was brand new to West Virginia and was invited along. We shared a mutual excitement for a Metallica song that had come over the radio on the drive back (Battery) and when the school semester started, we realized we were working in the same laboratory. After weeks of spending time together, playing pokemon GO, watching Markiplier videos, sharing our love of theater and biology, and talking about/playing our favorite videogames, for hours on end we decided to make things official February 17, 2020. Shortly after, COVID sent everyone into lockdown, but we still made the effort to talk daily, and Daniel would take the time to drive to visit me while I was stuck in the dorms. This year we will be/have been together for 6 years and this is just the beginning of a many more to come. We hope you will be able to join us in May for the wedding and we look forward to sharing this special moment in our lives with our family and friends
