Jones Beach
If the weather is nice (fingers crossed!), borrow a few towels and head to the beach for the day
The Hamptons
Drive up to the South Fork for the day or spend the night! If you don't have a car, there are public transit options available such as the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) and Hampton Jitney (bus). Main sights are in Montauk, Southampton and Sag Harbor.
Greenport
Totally worth the trip to the end of the North Fork (you will need a car to get there). Greenport is a charming, seaside town with great restaurants, breweries and wineries. You can also take a sailboat if you're interested :-)
