Meet the 2022 Starting Lineup

Cynthia Smith

Bride

Bats/Throws: Switch / Right Hometown: Modesto, CA. Position played: Scorekeeper. Don't lurk over my shoulder to look at my book, you should've been paying attention if you're that concerned. How did you form Team Bride and Team Groom: We tolerate each others' weirdness, know when and not to steal food from each other, and encourage each other to do devious things. Perfect match. Favorite sports movie: "A League of Their Own"

Robbie Webber

Groom

Bats/Throws: Right Hometown: San Jose, CA. Position played: First Base How did you form Team Bride and Team Groom: Ditto. Whatever she says. Favorite sports movie: "Baseketball"

Stacy Moore

Matron of Honor

Bats/Throws: Right Hometown: San Jose, CA. Position played: I did best taking score for the coach. Best played position of "The Bench". How you got drafted by the Bride and Groom: At the age of 16 I met Robbie's friend in summer school. Working for Round Table pizza at the time, Robbie came to visit me and we have been friends since. I have the honor of making a new best friend of his fiancé Cynthia shortly after they met. Having tea, watching anime, going to Giants games, and helping with bobbleheads... Good times, good memories, and good friends for life-long memories. Favorite sports movie: "Field of Dreams"

Robby Jasso

Best Man

Bats/Throws: Right Hometown: The Big V (Vallejo, CA.) Position played: Whatever's closest to the beer stand. How you got drafted by the Bride and Groom: Because they're holding my bobbleheads ransom. Favorite sports movie: "Teen Titans Go! See Space Jam"

Stephen Hilton

Bridesman

Bats/Throws: Right Hometown: Crescent City, CA. (until age 10); Modesto, CA. Position played: Right outfield How you got drafted by the Bride and Groom: Blackmailed... Favorite sports movie: Is "Lilo and Stitch" a sports movie? There's surfing! Or maybe "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire"? If all else fails, then "Moneyball" :)

Stacy Lejano

Groomswoman

Bats/Throws: Right Hometown: Santa Clara, CA. Position played: Groomswoman How you got drafted by the Bride and Groom: I have the honor of standing in to represent my brother, Eric Manalo, who passed in 2018. Eric and Robbie met at Intel (where Robbie was Eric's manager) and they later became good friends who bonded over baseball and bobbleheads. Favorite sports movie: So hard to choose one. Today I'll go with "The Sandlot".

Cindy Ramos

Bridesmaid

Bats/Throws: There is a pun here that I can’t find. Hometown: Whittier, CA. Position played: Healer (unless you count that time I sat down and made flower wreaths somewhere in the outfield during P.E. baseball, before I was yelled at and told I might as well walk laps around the perimeter). Wait, is Bridesmaid the answer?! How you got drafted by the Bride and Groom: Lunako-chan appeared before me and drafted me into the magical girl role. Favorite sports movie: "Brave Father Online: Our Story of Final Fantasy XIV" (Esports is a thing, yo!)

Dennis Alvarez

Groomsman

Bats/Throws: Right Hometown: Born in Union City, CA.; Raised in Hayward, CA.; Now lives in San Ramon, CA. Position played: P, UTL How you got drafted by the Bride and Groom: I'm the September callup! Favorite sports movie: Major League
