You can exchange money in 2 different ways: 1. Through your bank for the best rates. (This has to be at least 3 weeks before travel, you go in and request how much money you want to exchange to Mexican Pesos. Usually, it takes 3-5 days to receive the money. 2. At the airport, once you arrive in Queretaro. If there is more than one money house, you can scan and see who has the better exchange rate. (Check Google to be sure you're not getting ripped off, and the amount is close to what your search shows.) Your third option would be to use a travel card, which is the easiest since most restaurants and bars accept most Visa and Mastercard. If your card is not a travel card, expect fees for every purchase. But also remember, many markets and taco stands only take cash.
