Is driving to the wedding and back home the same day reasonable?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with you in one of our favorite places! If you’re attending the reception, we highly recommend spending at least one night in Santa Barbara. We’ve got a full day of love, laughter, and dancing planned—and we want you to enjoy every moment without worrying about a long late-night drive home. For those invited to both the Ceremony and the Reception, we suggest arriving Friday (if you can swing it!) or planning an early trip Saturday morning. Just a reminder: the Ceremony begins at 12:30 PM on Saturday, so give yourself plenty of time to settle in and enjoy the day. Take this opportunity to soak up the beauty of Santa Barbara, make it a little getaway, and celebrate with us to the fullest!

Our big day will mostly be an adults-only celebration, but we get that some kiddos might need to tag along. If your little one will be joining the party, we just ask that they bring their best manners and cutest dance moves! Santa Barbara is usually a nice 68-72 degrees, but it does get cold in the evening, so bring a warm sweater or jacket!

What is the dress code for this wedding?

We've hired an awesome photographer for our wedding and want everyone to look their best for pictures! If you would like to match the decor of the venue and overall vibe of the day, we’re going for a semi-formal look with outfits in olive or other earthy tones. We kindly ask guests to avoid wearing white or ivory—those are reserved for the couple! Think elegant, nature-inspired, and photo-ready. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in style!
