Things To Do

There's really so much to do in Philadelphia! Below are some of our favorite spots!
Fiume

Fiume

229 South 45th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104
, (215) 352-3591

Fiume is great place with a speakeasy vibe. For those looking to drink a really well-made cocktail or beer in what seems like someone's living room. Downstairs is the restaurant/bar Abyssinia that serves amazing Ethopian food and much chiller bar vibes.

Royal Sushi & Izakaya

Royal Sushi & Izakaya

780 South 2nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147
, (267) 909-9002

One of Cynthia's favorites! Great for small plates of Japanese fare and an extensive list of sake.

Rocco's Italian Sausage

Rocco's Italian Sausage

Philadelphia, PA 19145

Forget Pat & Gino's... if you want a decent cheesesteak, Jeff suggests Rocco's, which is conveniently located in the Home Depot parking lot. :)

South Street

South Street

South Street, Philadelphia, PA

One of Cynthia's favorite places to stroll and shop is South Street into Queens Village. Grab an iced coffee at Ox; check out the VERY REASONABLY PRICED and great selection of vintage at Retrospect; explore the quirkyness of Philly Aids Thrift; spend all your money on apothecary essentials, vintage, home decor, and candles at Moon and Arrow; and them grab some pizza at Nomad.

Old City

Old City

Philadelphia, PA

Another of Cynthia's favorite places to go for a stroll. Get a coffee at Menagerie, shop at Vagabond and Cuttaloosa Collective (1/3 of this collective is TAVATINE, who helped design the wedding), pick up all your stationary needs at Omai Zakka, and treat yourself to an old-fashioned ice cream float or flavored seltzer at Franklin Fountain.

The College of Physicians of Philadelphia

The College of Physicians of Philadelphia

19 South 22nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19103
, (215) 560-8564

Located right next the venue is the Mutter Museum, if you're feeling sinister. America’s finest museum of medical history, the Mütter Museum displays its beautifully preserved collections of anatomical specimens, models, and medical instruments in a 19th-century “cabinet museum” setting.

Reading Terminal Market

Reading Terminal Market

51 North 12th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107
, (215) 922-2317

An amazing public market with local vendors slinging food, cheese, meats, Amish goods, sweet treats...anything you're palate desires! Cynthia's father stops here every time he visits Philly to stock up! Be sure to check out Beiler's donuts, Termini Brothers Bakery, Smuckers, and more!

Italian Market

Italian Market

South 9th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19147
, (215) 278-2903

Italian pastries, restaurants, produce, bars, coffee.... take a stroll down 9th street for all the Italian you can handle!
