What is the dress code?

Answer

Think garden party meets cocktail attire! This is a time to have fun with bright, springy colors and florals! Please no jeans.

What time should I arrive to the venue?

Answer

You may begin seating at 3:15 PM. We kindly ask that all guests be seated by 3:50 PM so the ceremony can begin promptly at 4:00 PM. Please note that late arrivals will not be permitted to enter once the ceremony has begun.

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Answer

The ceremony site is outdoors and the reception will be indoors! We know south GA is hot in May so we promise not to keep you outside longer than we have to!

Where should out of town guests stay?

Answer

We know Cairo is a bit of a drive and a smaller city. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay close by we suggest Thomasville, GA (24 miles away), Bainbridge, GA (22 miles away), or Tallahassee, FL (29 miles away)!

Can I bring kids/a plus one?

Answer

We wish we could invite everyone but due to venue capacity we are keeping the guest list to those specifically listed on the invitation. We can’t wait to celebrate with y’all!

Is there parking/transportation at the venue?

Answer

There is onsite parking and there will be a shuttle to get you from the parking lot to the ceremony site!

Didn’t y’all already get married?

Answer

The short answer, yes. Kaylon and I were sealed in the Tallahassee, FL Temple on August 8th, 2025 surrounded by our immediate families. However, we still wanted the chance to celebrate with our people and have the big day we’ve always dreamed of!
