Questions?

The Wedding Website of Eilidh Currie and Alejandro Ramirez-Velasquez
Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

When you RSVP, the names of guests invited in your party will appear. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests beyond those included on your invitation/on your RSVP form. We appreciate your understanding!

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Our wedding is an adults-only event. We strongly encourage our guests with children enjoy a fun night out for yourselves! Thank you in advance for your understanding.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a block of rooms reserved at a discounted rate at the Fairfield Inn in Issaquah, about 15 minutes away from our venue. More information is available in the "Accommodations" tab. We recommend booking sooner rather than later to take advantage of the discount. There will be shuttle service from the Fairfield Inn to the venue and returning at the end of the night.

Question

How should I get to the venue?

Answer

If you are staying at the Fairfield Inn, there will be a shuttle available to transport guests to the venue at 3:15. There is also ample parking at the venue for those of you who plan to drive to the wedding. Please note that it may be difficult to get Ubers or Lyfts from the venue, especially later at night, as it's a fairly quiet, residential area.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 p.m. We recommend arriving around 3:30-3:45 to allow time for parking and finding your seat. For those of you staying at the Fairfield Inn in Issaquah, a shuttle will be available to take you to the venue at 3:15. Please bear in mind that we cannot hold the shuttle for guests who are running late. For those of you driving to the venue, there is ample parking available on-site.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We'd love to see our guests dressed up with us! Cocktail or semi-formal attire is recommended. This includes cocktail dresses, suits, and the like. We ask that women avoid wearing colors typically reserved for the bride, including white, ivory, cream, or other pale colors. The entire wedding will be outside, with the reception being held under large tents. We recommend wearing shoes that will hold up on grass and bringing a sweater or light jacket for the evening, as the temperatures can get a little chilly in Washington once the sun goes down!

Question

What's the best way to get around the area?

Answer

If you're traveling from out of state, we would recommend renting a car. While it's very easy to use public transport to get around Seattle, Issaquah is about 15 miles from the city - public transport isn't as robust there!

Question

I have another question - who should I ask?

Answer

If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Eilidh at 203-815-5154, Alejandro at 206-714-0017, or Doreen at 203-376-3282.
