Travel & Stay
SeaTac (SEA) is Seattle's primary airport, which is accessible by most domestic and international airports. We are also close to Paine Field (PAE) in Everett, a small and fun alternative to SeaTac. However, PAE has less transportation options at hand, and less access to farther airports.
As 'North-enders', we focus much of our attention to the neighborhoods of Ballard and Fremont-Wallingford. Those two neighborhoods house our events, and we suggest searching for places to stay in closer proximity. However, that is not to say there aren't great places to stay and explore to the South and East. VRBO and Air BnB have a number of variable priced places throughout the city. There are also hotels near the University of Washington and Downtown that are moderately priced and provide great jumping-off points for exploring and ease of travel.
We do not recommend staying in hotels along SR99 (Aurora Ave). As with any city, please be wary of your surroundings as things can change block by block.
