Transportation & Exploration
Seattle is very accessible by public transit and private vehicle. The Link light-rail directly connects SeaTac to Downtown, the University of Washington, and Northgate, along with an abundance of rideshare or traditional taxis! Our urban space also provides for excellent bike and walkability supported by a strong bus network. Rental vehicles may be best for those with families, or those looking to explore the surrounding geography, but parking can prove difficult.
We've included a list of some great places to check out in the immediate area - but this is by no means a complete list! As is, the provided map isn't great. We encourage you to reach out for a more complete list and/or map.
Outside of the city, it's limitless! For us, a cherished and simple day trip involves driving to Samish, Wa, where we hike the Samish Bay Overlook, followed by oysters at Taylor Shellfish, complete with bread and cheese from Bow-Edison, Wa, and perhaps a snack at Mariposa Taqueria!
