This is a soft RSVP. A soft RSVP means a casual or non-binding response to an invitation, where a guest is asked to simply let the host know if they are likely to attend an event, without needing a firm commitment at that time. This is just to let us kind of gauge which package we are going to need to go with. An actual invitation that will need a hard RSVP will soon follow.
