The recommended hotel (Fairfield Inn by Marriott) is located in this shopping center. Within walking distance are 24 eating/drinking establishments ranging from casual dining (a.k.a. the Chick-fil-A where Kate and Reynolds met) to nice dining to boba teas and desserts. There are also over 25 shops - clothing, wine, gifts, books, jewelry, and more.
Gibbs Gardens
Kate and Reynolds went here on their first date in 2022, and got engaged here in 2025! It is a beautiful expanse of colorful gardens and flowers about 35 minutes from the recommended Fairfield Inn at Marriott. There is an admission fee of $25 per adult (less for seniors and children).
Stoney J's Winery
Only 2 miles from the recommended Fairfield Inn by Marriott, this local winery and restaurant has oven fired pizzas! Great for an outdoor dinner. Kate and Reynolds had dinner there with a large group for junior prom (pre-dating).
Halcyon
Another shopping center located about 5 miles from the recommended Fairfield Inn by Marriott, there are countless restaurants and boutiques.
Avalon
An outdoor mall with a movie theater, Avalon is a high-end shopping center with multiple shops and restaurants.
Dawsonville Pool Room
The Dawsonville Pool Room is a small local restaurant in downtown Dawsonville that NASCAR driver Chase Elliot frequents. It's about 5 minutes from our venue, Cold Creek Farm. It's great for lunch or dinner.
