Kate and Reynolds met six years ago when they both got hired at their local Chick-fil-A in May of 2020. They were both 15 years old at the time. While Reynolds applied online like a normal person, Kate accidentally walked in during the interviews and was added into the mix. They immediately spotted one another across the room, and when they went home, Kate's dad asked if there were any cute boys at the interview, which gave Reynolds the nickname "Cute Guy Reynolds", or CGR. A friendship was immediately started, and though it wasn't in the Lord's timeline yet, they tried to go out on a date...twice. The first ended with Kate saying she just wanted to be friends, and the second with Reynolds deciding the same. Another year passed as they were nothing more than coworkers, yet when Kate and Cat became friends (shoutout), she brought Reynolds and Kate back together as mutual friends, which soon blossomed back into a real friendship. A few relationships, another year, and a life-changing mission trip to Uganda later, Kate and Reynolds finally started dating on October 10, 2022, at the beginning of Kate's senior year and Reynolds's first year in college. They were dating for 3 years, 1 month, and 11 days when they got engaged, and will be engaged for 5 months and 26 days when they get married! In that time of dating, they've been to 16 countries, 19 states, and 9 national parks together! They love nature and hiking, going to church, any and all sports, and spending time with friends and family! They are so excited to live in covenant together, to be one in the eyes of God, and to be able to celebrate that with all of the people that they love.
