Cusco, a city with one of the highest elevations in Peru, sits just above 11,000 feet. The Sacred Valley is at roughly 8,000 feet, and Lima is just above sea level at about 500 feet.
There is no way! But you must take precautions. Always be hydrated, drink coca tea (it's free at the hotel), buy SOROJCHI PILLS at the Lima airport and take them before boarding the plane and upon arrival in Cusco. Request the oxygen balloon when you arrive at the hotel to acclimate as soon as possible. Lemon and coca candies also help. The first day do not try too hard because you will feel the elevation.
CUSCO : The average temperatures are 15°/5°C (59° / 41°F), sometimes rain LIMA : The average temperatures are 19°/15°C (66° / 59°F), no rain
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
If you are traveling from outside of Peru, it would be a good idea for your flight to arrive on Thursday, September 1st and to board as soon as possible to Cusco in order to acclimatize to the altitude. We advise as a limit to arrive on Friday, September 2nd in order to be able to enjoy the wedding without inconveniences.
We recommend using Uber for the 10 minute drive from the airport in Cusco to the hotel.
Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #AwesomeCuscoWedding so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Getting married in the midst of a global pandemic means that everyone’s health and safety is a top priority for us. Part of our RSVP process will be asking each person if they are fully vaccinated (with a booster), or will be by the wedding day. In case of any change of plans due to Covid we will be in contact.
We understand that it can be difficult for some people to make decisions around dates- especially well in the future – but we would appreciate an RSVP before the end of April. After April prices tend to increase.
