We've now been together for a year or two, So we really don't need anything new. Yet, if giving a gift is truly your intention, There's just one thing we thought we would mention: We'd love to put some pennies together To save for an experience we will always treasure. But please remember, what matters the most, Is that you're here with us to raise a toast!
Yes, of course. We want everyone to feel comfortable; you won’t offend us if this is not the right time for you to join the celebration. You can change your RSVP on our website, and we would kindly ask that you do so as soon as you know that your plans have changed. If you do change your RSVP, we would also appreciate it if you would reach out to us directly and let us know!
For the most part, yes. Please be advised that if you reserve a room from one of our room blocks and decide to cancel, you must cancel at least 72 hours in advance of the check-in date/time to avoid incurring any charges/cancellation fees. If you book a different hotel or rental through airbnb or vrbo, please refer to the property site for their cancellation policy.
It's totally up to you! We have reserved blocks of rooms at three different hotels: two are very close to our wedding venue (the Hampton Inn and Homewood Suites), if you want to stay close to the venue. The third hotel (the Hyatt Place) is located in the Downtown area, which is full of great restaurants, bars, breweries, music, and nightlife if you want to explore the town. If you're looking for something close to attractions, but not in the heart of Downtown, try Biltmore Village (close to the Biltmore Estate), or head up to the Omni Grove Park Inn (just North of Downtown Asheville). Asheville is located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway, so there are tons of mountain homes, cabins, cottages, and treehouses that you can rent on airbnb or vrbo if you're wanting to be a bit more "away from it all."
We would kindly request your reply by July 4, 2020 so that we can give an accurate count to our vendors. If you know right away that you will not be able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible, as this will help us greatly with contingency planning. Thank you in advance for your prompt response!
The ceremony will begin at 6 PM, but doors will open at 5:30 PM. You are welcome to arrive any time between 5:30 and 6 PM.
The wedding/reception has a "garden attire" dress code - for ladies, this can be sundresses or cocktail attire; for men, we suggest a suit (in a lighter or darker hue, whichever you prefer) or slacks and a dress shirt.
Yes! When you RSVP to our wedding, you will be prompted to make a menu selection for dinner. We have three delicious menu choices (including a vegetarian option). There will also be a field below the menu selection that asks about any food allergies or dietary restrictions. Please let us know this information so that we can provide it to our caterers.
There is ample parking available at Highland Brewing Company if you plan to drive. If you are staying at either the Hampton Inn or the Homewood Suites, you have the option to use a shuttle service that both of these hotels provide that will take you anywhere within a 5-mile radius (which means they can take you from either of these hotels to Highland Brewing Company). The venue is about a 10-minute drive from the heart of Downtown Asheville.
