A group shuttle will be provided from Florence to Castello di Ristonchi, if you RSVP'd for transportation. Please check back here for updated pickup and drop off times! The shuttle will run on Friday, 23rd of October in the afternoon and return to Florence on Monday 26th of October after 11:00 am.

Rome Leonardo Da Vinci Fiumicino Airport (FCO) is a popular airport to travel into with direct flights from the US. Rome is a 3 hour drive from Florence and a 1.5 - 2 hour direct train from Rome Termini to Firenze Santa Maria Novella.

The nearest train station to Castello di Ristonchi is Pontassieve, accessible from any major city in Italy. You can take a train to Pontassieve, which is about 30 minutes from Florence, 2 hours from Pisa, 1 hour from Bologna, and 2.5 hours from Milan, Rome, or Venice. From Pontassieve station, you can catch Bus 343 A Saltino Centro up the mountain and get off at the 'Paterno_V' stop in Pelago (15 minutes). From there, you can arrange a pickup or, if you're feeling adventurous and have light luggage, enjoy a scenic 30-minute forest walk to the castle. The most special part about this weekend to us was finding a place where we can all stay together to maximize the fun and time with our guests! We kindly ask that you pay for your accommodation and we will cover the rest. This payment should be made at the time of RSVP to confirm your room. Due to the complexities of planning a destination wedding in Europe, all lodging must be reserved by June 15th 2026. COST FOR 3 NIGHTS ACCOMMODATION FOR WEDDING GUESTS: 500 Euros Per Person WHAT IS COVERED IN THE COST: Transfers to & from Central Florence. Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner every day of your stay at the castle. Plus a selection of drinks available at all of the events across Friday, Saturday and Sunday. WHAT IS NOT INCLUDED / ADDITIONAL COSTS: Private transfers can be arranged if required, the transfers we have arranged with the venue run at specific times from the Airport & Train station to make it easier for you. The hotel bar will be open across the weekend for the purchase of Alcoholic drinks and snacks outside of our events.
