Things To Do

We're so excited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you!
Mount Leconte

Mount Leconte

TN 37738

We hiked to the top of Mount Leconte and back down in the same day. This was a very strenuous hike but completely worth it! If you are up for a little adventure but don't want to devote a whole day to hiking we suggest taking the trail to the Alum Cave Bluffs.

Tennessee Mountain Tours

Tennessee Mountain Tours

153 East Wears Valley Road, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863
, (865) 455-6981

We went here on our first trip to Tennessee together. The Moonshine and Wine tour was so much fun! Chris loved the moonshine tastings and I really enjoyed the different Tennessee wines. There is a chocolate alcohol slushy on one of the stops that will definitely sneak up on you!

Dollywood

Dollywood

Dollywood Parks Boulevard, Pigeon Forge, TN

Dollywood is the most popular park in the Smoky Mountain area. It includes a theme park, water park, dinner shows, and the Dollywood resort has a spa onsite.

Smoky’s Pancake Cabin

Smoky’s Pancake Cabin

4235 Parkway, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863
, (865) 412-0986

There are many places to eat in Pigeon Forge but this was one of our favorites. Make sure to get there early because the wait time can easily get up to an hour. It is well worth the wait for some of their famous pancakes.

Crockett's Breakfast Camp

Crockett's Breakfast Camp

1103 Parkway, Gatlinburg, TN 37738
, (865) 325-1403

If you're staying in Gatlinburg you have to try this restaurant for breakfast. We stopped here for breakfast before our hike up Mount LeConte and it was so filling! They make the best biscuits and some really unique pancakes.

Junction 35 Spirits

Junction 35 Spirits

2655 Teaster Lane, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863
, (865) 365-1019

This is our favorite spot to stop for BBQ in the Pigeon Forge area. The burnt ends are amazing but you can't go wrong ordering any BBQ option there. On your way out pick up a jar of moonshine pickles. They are surprisingly delicious and only have a hint of moonshine. ;)

For all the days along the way
