We will be organizing accommodations for all of our guests at Château Rigaud and nearby properties from Monday, May 25 to Thursday, May 28, 2026. Once RSVPs are confirmed, we’ll share specific room assignments and details. Please note: these charming historic stone properties do not have air conditioning, and in some cases, bathrooms may be shared between rooms. We completely understand if this arrangement isn’t the right fit for you. If you would prefer to arrange your own accommodation nearby, just let us know—we’ll be happy to help with recommendations.
We are so grateful that you are traveling all the way to France to celebrate with us. Covering accommodations for our guests is our way of saying thank you—so there is no expectation of payment. That said, several guests have expressed interest in contributing toward the accommodation costs, so we’ve set up an "Accommodation Contribution" on our registry to keep it simple. You can also Venmo Megan directly @Megan-Cunningham-3. If you prefer to pay the accommodation directly, we can send you the proper recipient information to transfer money via Wise which has the best currency rates and avoids any foreign transaction fees.
We’ll be sharing several meals together throughout the week: Monday – Welcome Dinner (optional) Tuesday – Wedding Dinner Wednesday – Post-Wedding Lunch (optional) Each property has a full kitchen and is located near a small town with restaurants and grocery shops, so you’ll have plenty of flexibility outside of these events. (See Things To Do for more about the local area.) We also highly recommend a visit to Saint-Émilion, perfect for lunch on Monday or dinner on Wednesday! This beautiful town is filled with wonderful restaurants. Reservations are strongly encouraged, as mealtimes in France are specific: Lunch: 12:30–2:30 pm Dinner: 7:00–10:00 pm
Due to limited accommodation for children in the chateau, we have to limit the children to family only.
