Jessica Madding

Maid of Honor

Kim and Jessica met in 1995 as teammates and recreational soccer standouts on the The Pink Flamingos. For the past 25 years they have bonded over everything from shared love of ultimate frisbee to shared tolerance of their over-enthusiastic sports-dads. They have traveled the world together, endured many a holiday sing-along, and managed their long-distance friendship the best way they know how: phone tag. Jessi is who you want to have by your side lost in the woods, she'll make you think you are just on another great adventure. She is a steady friend who reminds me to experience life, not just go through the motions.

Dan Mangan

Best Man

The Mangan household was Ryan's second home growing up; those boys were more like brothers than cousins to Ryan. Today, Ry and Dan travel the US for concerts, silent discos, and of course, each others engagements. Their late night conversations always end with talk of what vacation house to buy in a few years. Now that they have settled down walking distance from each other in Watertown, Dan, Jess, Kim and Ry have become an inseparable unit. Backyard grill outs, Ixtapa feasts and competitive game nights are frequent and still somehow too few.

Sydney Dobkin

Bridesmaid

Sydney and Kim met playing for Brute Squad, Boston's top women's club ultimate team. They became fast friends and had to take their relationship to the next level: roommates. Cohabitation was pretty flawless with these two, Sydney cleans when she is stressed, Kim does not, so a perfect match. Sydney can boost Kim's confidence when she is feeling her lowest. She is fiercely loyal, painfully honest, and devastatingly beautiful, inside and out.

Tom Mangan

Groomsman

Tom and Ryan were attached at the hip growing up. They beat every video game together, constructed every Lego together, watched every cartoon together and even got hospitalized with poison ivy together. Tom is hardworking - whether it is at his job, as a new dad or planning the next get together. Neither of these boys would be where they are today without each other.

Amy Odom

Bridesmaid

Amy came into Kim's life through Ryan and his best bud Will. But that's where the credit to the boys stops. Amy and Kim developed their own friendship quickly. Whether they are skiing, spritzing, or stomping the boys in code names, they are always having a good time together. Amy is the foodie, bougie, rock of a friend that every girl deserves. She makes every trip more fun and every annoying moment with our boys worth it.

William Odom

Groomsman

Ryan first met Will at Georgia Tech during his "super" senior year with a 64oz Diet Coke in his hand and a twinkle in his eye. Eventually, Will did graduate and immediately moved to Boston. Despite their giant age gap, these two became inseparable during Ryan's first tenure back in Boston. There is still an argument to be made to who really convinced Ryan to move back from Houston, Kim or Will... These days, Ryan and Will can usually be found at The Fours or on Will's couch playing their favorite game, One More Drink. There is no one more ready to fry a turkey, tackle a house project, try a new cocktail or really whatever you throw at him. Will is as loyal as they come and one of both Kim and Ryan's best friends.

Keller Felt

Bridesmaid

Keller and Kim met at the University of Michigan as freshman on the Women's Water Polo team. These two California girls quickly embraced their new snowy home and became best friends and roommates. Their years at Michigan revolved around getting their friends together as much as possible: BBQs in the front yard, themed parties inside, and meeting up on campus just to catch up. There is a reason Keller became a Marriage and Family Therapist, she listens with intention and cares deeply for the well being of her friends.

Nick Binder

Groomsman

Nick and Ryan became best friends back in pre-school thanks to our moms' loves of dry clean only clothing and pajamas. Nick (and the Binder clan) have been around for it all. Birthdays, ski and beach trips, little league, high school sports and the traditional late night Christmas visit. Nick and Ryan are always able to pick things up right where they left off thanks to Nick's ability to carry a conversation and Ryan ability to listen. Despite living on different coasts, these two play an important part in each other's lives.

Cara Reitz

Bridesmaid

Cara and Kim met as wild freshmen on the Univ. of Michigan water polo team. They lived in the same dorm and spent most of their time in the same dorm room despite their respective roommates wishes. They went on to become the three musketeers along with Keller and live out their "crunchie" days at Michigan in undergrad bliss. They have since traveled the world together and celebrated each other's highest highs and supported each other through life's inevitable lows. Cara is the tenacious, over-achieving, badass lady you always want on your side.

Joshua Glass

Groomsman

Like all new RATS, when Ryan first got to Georgia Tech, he went through a freshman introductory program called FACET. Josh was Ryan's FACET leader and using totally legal means, got Ryan to rush Lambda Chi and join the frat. This quickly led to being classmates, college roommates, a Halloween duo staple, Houston roommates, and life long friends. Living in Houston these two attended every concert, BBQ stand and queso spot in the city. Josh is always there to give a wealth of advice, good times and belly laughs.

Jessica Mangan

Bridesmaid

Kim and Jess are future cousins-in-law. But that just their official title. They have been travel buddies, Jim James stalkers, and Mangan-family recruits together for many years. They are newly indoctrinated Watertown locals and enjoy checking out new restaurants and getting stared down at the townie bars. Jess is both the life of every dance party and calm center of any storm. Luckily for Kim, Jess is stuck with her forever.

Brendan Orino

Groomsman

Bruno and Ryan met back at St. John's High School. These two quickly became reliant on each other. Bruno for Ryan's math homework and Ryan for Bruno's decision making abilities. Even though they are now living states apart, they always make time to see each other. It could be a quick trip to Boston, passing through DC, hanging in Amsterdam, partying at Penn State or rocking out to shows all over. This man knows how to have a good time. You'll be sure to see him on the dance floor belting out every lyric. Bruno is extremely thoughtful and caring and would be there for Ryan in a pinch.

Mike Lollar

Groomsman

Lollar and Ryan went to Georgia Tech together and got even tighter as roommates in Houston (with Josh). Mike and Ryan always kept active together - Mike dragged Ryan along to the basketball court, Ryan dragged Mike along to frisbee games and they both dragged anyone willing to the dance floor at Barbarella. Their love of sci-fi novels has kept them as close as ever now that Ryan has moved back to Boston. Mike is a deeply considerate friend and always down for a trip, no matter how close to the actual date of departure his flight is purchased.

David Culpan

Groomsman

David is the Bride's brother and Ryan's future Brother-in-law. These two have only ever had great times together. They have spent many a family holiday trying to recreate Grant's Manhattan, but have been most successful at drinking them. They have recently found themselves competing for worst facial hair in the Culpan family and consensus says they are both winners. These bros are looking forward to many more card games, Maine vacations and celebrating 2020 as a very special year.

Sean Murphy

Officiant

Sean is a special snowflake. He is the only person (we can think of) who befriended Ryan and Kim before they even knew eachother. He has since become a very dear friend to them both. Sean, Kim and Ry all met in Houston playing ultimate frisbee. Sean then chased Ry and Kim back to Massachusetts after struggling with the long-distance friendship. This trio continues to hike, camp, and ski the Northeast. How neat is that?
