Question

Will transportation be provided for those staying off the island?

Answer

Yes! 2 shuttles TO the wedding from the Hampton Inn Wells-Ogunquit & Drake's Island Resort, the first shuttle leaving at 4 pm and the last leaving at 4:30 pm. 2 shuttles FROM the wedding @ 10:30 and 11 pm to the Hampton Inn & Drake's Island Resort.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. A balance between comfortable & elegant; suit/tie for men & cocktail dress for women. Please keep in mind that both the ceremony and reception will be held on the lawn. Ladies: it is best to avoid wearing traditional heels that may get stuck in the grass.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We recommend staying at the Drakes Island Resort or The Hampton Inn as these are closest in proximity to the wedding spot and will have pick up before the wedding ceremony & after the reception. The Hampton Inn is a bit nicer/more of a hotel feel while the Drakes Island Resort is more casual and closer to the wedding spot. Other suggestions available under the Travel section of our website.

How do I RSVP?

Answer

On our wedding website! Click on the menu (or 3 horizontal lines) and select RSVP. Enter your last name and your information should pop up. If your name doesn’t appear, you can try entering the last name of your guest instead. If you have any trouble at all, don’t hesitate to contact Sean or Hayley and we can RSVP for you. Is there parking available at the wedding?

Answer

Yes. Parking at the wedding lot (125 Shady Lane) is very limited. Please park at the Drake’s Island Jetty public parking lot located 0.4 miles away at 72 Foster Lane, Wells, ME. There is no cost to park there starting Sept 18th, but the lot does close at 11 pm. We recommend taking the transportation provided from The Hampton Inn or The Drakes Island Resort, if possible.
