Question

What is the COVID-19 policy?

Answer

While we don't want COVID to be the focus of our event, given the current times, it is something we need to consider. For the safety of our guests, as well as family and friends with particular vulnerabilities, we are asking that all of our guests either be vaccinated or have a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event. Masks are not required but are certainly welcome. If the weather does not allow a mostly outdoor event as planned, it will be an indoor event in a smaller space. It is important to us that we take this precaution as we would feel badly if there was a harmful COVID-19 outcome as a result of our celebration. You are an important part of our lives and we are honored to have you as a guest, and we appreciate in advance your willingness to honor this policy for the safety of all invited. If for any reason you need to cancel due to COVID concerns, know we will lovingly understand. Text us at (928) 848-3932 for any last minute changes so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What should I expect the weather to be like?

Answer

Typical weather in Flagstaff in July is a high of 82F and a low of 51F. Since our wedding will take place in the late afternoon, we would expect temperatures to be in the lower range during the evening reception. Weather permitting, the wedding and dancing will take place on the garden patio. While we hope the rain stays away, July is monsoon season in Arizona, often in the early afternoon, so if you plan to stay several days, we recommend packing an umbrella or rain jacket. The storms often pass fairly quickly. While a high of 82F is average, the weather is unpredictable and can lead to some hot afternoons so we suggest you check the forecast a few days before your trip and bring an extra layer for the evening activities. Also, Flagstaff is at 7,000 feet in elevation, so be careful with the altitude if you are not used to it!

Question

Is the venue handicap accessible?

Answer

Yes! Our venue does have some stairs, but there are easy alternatives to make it to every area of the event. For a flat walking path to the ceremony garden space, it is recommended that you park in the lower lot outside of the nursery entrance. After the ceremony, you can return the same way and enter the reception space through the main lobby doors. Please let us know if you need further assistance.

Question

Can I bring a plus one or my kids?

Answer

Our venue has a limited amount of space, so we ask that only the people listed on the RSVP attend. When you click the RSVP link on the website, you will be able to type in your first and last name to see the specific names of invited parties. If you have received an invitation and are not able to find your name on the RSVP page, please contact us.

Question

Answer

Breakfast: Mike & Rhonda's, Tourist Home Lunch & Dinner: Los Altenos, Mama Burger, Josephine's, Black Bart's Steakhouse (dinner only)
