On a misty weekend in January, we escaped across the Puget Sound to the breathtaking Lake Crescent in Olympic National Park where we captured our engagement photos. The drive in itself was like we stepped into a fairytale. Mossy tress, damp forest beds and wispy clouds reflecting out on the water of the lake. We had actually expected it to snow that day, but instead we got a very light mist that gave everything that quintessential PNW glow. It's not secret we like to be in front of the camera, but we'd never had a photographer take such intimate phots of us before. There may have been some awkward giggles and nuzzling runny noses but something about being in such close quarters with each other, cloaked by the forest made this a memory we won't soon forget.
