Trent and Taylor's love story began in 2021, precisely on Trent's 26th birthday, when they crossed paths on a dating app. Two days later, they embarked on their first date, an encounter that felt remarkably close to "love at first sight." After only six weeks, they made their relationship official, and not long after, they were professing their love for each other. Their connection flourished through their shared passions for Disney, Cherry Garcia Ben & Jerry's ice cream, and video games. Additionally, Trent embraced the role of a devoted dog dad to Taylor's beloved Luna. The year 2022 proved momentous for Trent and Taylor. They decided to move in together early in the year, and in February, they embarked on a memorable trip to Disney World alongside their friends. During this magical adventure, Trent meticulously planned the ideal location to propose. In April, they joyfully welcomed Milo, an adorable German Shepherd puppy, into their family—a perfect addition that enriched their lives. Together, they embarked on incredible journeys, celebrated milestones, and spent every birthday and holiday side by side. A cornerstone of their relationship is the unwavering support and motivation they provide each other to strive for personal growth. Since being together, Trent has seized multiple job opportunities and successfully earned his MBA from Texas A&M University. Taylor, too, has received numerous job and research opportunities, in addition to embarking on her Marine Biology Masters at Texas A&M University in Galveston. They both attribute their personal achievements to each other's support, acknowledging that their successes would have been far more challenging to attain without it. In May 2023, Trent's family organized a trip to Disney World to celebrate Trent's recent graduation and upcoming birthday. Unbeknownst to Taylor, this vacation held an extraordinary surprise. As they dined inside Cinderella's Castle, a moment that Taylor believed to be a celebratory dessert for Trent's birthday turned into a life-changing event. The waitress presented a dessert adorned with the words "Will You Marry Me," initially leading Taylor to correct the waitress, assuming it was a "Happy Birthday" treat. But then, Trent rose from his seat, took a knee, and proposed. They celebrated the evening with a toast in the castle, followed by a spectacular fireworks display. Overwhelmed with joy, Trent and Taylor eagerly anticipate celebrating their love in 2025 in the enchanting setting of Lake Como, Italy.
