Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

The wedding and cocktail hour will be outdoors. If it rains, there will be an alternative ceremony location, and the cocktail hour will be held inside the gastronomy. The reception dinner is indoors.

Question

Can I take photos/videos during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

No, we'll be having an unplugged ceremony. Please don't ruin the moment - or shot with your phone being out. We’ve hired an amazing photographer, Sam Pondford, and videographer, Miguel Duarte. We’re going to let them cover the ceremony, but during cocktail hour and dinner, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you want!!! Also, after the ceremony, we have set aside time to get photos with friends and family.

Answer

Currently, no visa is needed. However, at some point, the EU will require ETIAS travel authorization - the start date has not yet been announced. The ETIAS travel authorization will cost €20 (waived for those under 18 or over 70) and is valid for three years. https://travel-europe.europa.eu/en/etias ***This requirement could change

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

When we went at the end of March 2026, the weather was in the 50s in the morning and warmed up to the 70s by the early afternoon. Rain is typical for Lisbon in March, but manifest sun for us :)

What's the deal with gifts?

Answer

We recognize that by committing to our wedding, you are already making a huge investment in celebrating with us, and having you there is our top priority! Please prioritize that over gifting us anything.
