It was one glorious day in the beautiful month of February in Florida. The weather whas starting to warm up from our cold winter days (70F). Christian just got back from a two week Storm Duty job. Thamy was getting ready for a fun weekend with her friend Ishita (one of the bridesmaids) and then starting a two week training out of state. At the end of our work day, we both got a notification from our phones saying: "Its A Match!" Then the punch line came from Christian. Thamy laughed! They decided to see if this was a real match. Two hours later they met for a drink at Cooper Blues. They talked for two hours and really enjoyed each others company until it was time to go. Thamy had left her car in the metered parking and she still had to finish packing her bags. After this meeting, they continued talking throughout the 2 weeks while she was away. That was what sealed the deal. Once Thamy got back from her training, they went on their first official date and have being enjoying each other's company since then.

Foi um dia glorioso, no lindo clima de Fevereiro na Flórida. O clima estáva começando a esquentar nossos dias frios de inverno (20C). Christian acabando de voltar de um trabalho de duas semanas com o Furacão. Thamirys estava se preparando para um fim de semana com sua amiga Ishita (uma das damas de honra) e logo após ia começar um treinamento de duas semanas fora do estado. Na hora de sair do trabalho, recebemos uma notificação nos nossos celulares que dizia: "Deu Match!" Ai veio o primeiro contato do Christian e Thamy riu! Eles decidiram ver se ia dar certo. Duas horas depois se encontraram para tomar um drink no Cooper Blues. Conversaram por algumas horas e gostaram muito da companhia um do outro, mas estava hora de ir porque a Thamy deixou seu carro no parquímetro e ela ainda tinha que terminar de fazer as malas. Depois deste encontro, o que realmente selou o relacionamento foi que, ao longo da semana eles continuaram conversando e curtindo um ao outro. Assim que a Thamy voltou do treinamento, eles tiveram seu primeiro date oficial.

Scenario: West Grand Canyon. The views were out of this world! We were just enjoying the hike and fresh air. This place was a 360 view of the Grand Canyon. While hiking up, we stopped for a good five minutes and enjoyed the amazing views. With the pandemic, Thamy thought it would be best to keep her mask on. A moment later Christian disrupted the silence saying “ Wow, this is beautiful! Take your mask off and smell the fresh air.” She did! He then says “I want to breathe the same air as you for the rest of my life (good and bad), and I hope you do too." Thamy laughed and jokingly said "well that's better than the first pickup line you told me" He laughs and then turns towards Thamy going down on one knee with the box in his hands and asked: "Will you Marry me?"

Thamy riu e disse brincando " bem, essa cantada foi melhor do que a primeira cantada que voce me deu! "Ele ri, se vira para Thamy e ajoelhando com uma caixa nas mãos e pergunta: " Quer se casar comigo?
