The Mountains Are Calling!

Crystal's Version: From our first encounter of "What you do you mean you don't like roundtable" I knew we were in for a big Adventure! Needless to say my welcome team lunch did not end up at roundtable!! To our first date at Crusin' Grand Escondido and Sean's willingness to join me on a 5 mile run around Miramar Lake even though running was not something he was very fond of. The adventure continued with our camping adventures in the Sierras and hikes up Half Dome in Yosemite to running our first half marathon together in the Saguaro Desert! We get to live all of our life adventures with our perfectly imperfect little family that includes a loud and very handsome 5 year old and scared of the world pup! Maverick and Goose complete our life! Life together over the last few years has been the greatest adventure yet! Sean's Version: Had I known that my first words to Crystal would grace the top of this page, I would have said something more romantic. When Crystal joined our team, we had developed a tradition of Round Table Pizza for any and all work functions. Chase brought up the default plan and Crystal said "sure" without the slightest hesitation. It was only until the next day that I had learned from her close friend that she did not in fact enjoy Round Table Pizza. I interrupted Crystal's conversation and asked "What do you mean, you don't like Round Table? Crystal's response? "Oh, you must be Sean; I've heard about you". From that moment I realized there was something special about her, something I couldn't put into words. My next brilliant action happened when I heard Crystal mention that she loved running, I proceeded to mention how I wanted to become a better runner; she then made me run five miles the next day. After a few running sessions, I dug up the courage to ask her out for a drink "without running before... as in you know a date?" and to my surprise, she said yes. This was the beginning of our many exciting adventures.
