It all began in November of 2012. Crystal was living in Astoria with two of her best girls (Apt 4 fo' lyfe!), one of whom, Morgan, was friends with Corey from back in high school. Corey was visiting Astoria in the hopes of moving there and Morgan was going to meet up with him to grab a drink and invited Crystal along. Crystal and Corey met at The Irish Rover (if you're familiar with the Rover... there's no better place to meet someone) and immediately bonded because of their same sense of humor. They went on a few dates and then naturally drifted apart and went their separate ways. Fast forward three years and through the magic of social media they reconnected in April of 2016. It was love at second sight! Crystal and Corey had a seamless connection from the moment they locked eyes on their second 'first date'. They moved in together to their lovely little Astoria apartment in March of 2017, have traveled both nationally and internationally, have grown to become part of each others' families, and have had no doubt since April of 2016 that they were destined to spend the rest of their lives together. The perfect proposal occurred at The Irish Rover on November 16th, 2018. The wedding was set and right around the corner at the original date of May 22, 2020 when the unexpected situation of the COVID 19 Pandemic became a reality and for the safety of one and all we made the difficult yet practical decision to push the wedding back to December 13, 2020. We are now even more excited to get to this date, officially join together as one and continue the rest of our lives together as a happily married couple! We're so grateful to everyone who has been a part of journey thus far and ECSTATIC to celebrate with all of our loved ones on our special day!!
