If part of the wedding party, am I required to stay at the same hotel as bride and groom?

Answer

No. You are able to stay at any hotel as long as you arrive to bride and groom hotel by 8:00 a.m. on June 21, 2024.

Am I required to wear black-tie attire to the ceremony and wedding reception?

Answer

Yes. Attire will be enforced by Wedding Planner. If attire is deemed inappropriate, you will be asked to leave and return with proper attire.

Am I am able to smoke or take external alcohol to the wedding reception?

Answer

The venue does not allow for smoking, dipping, vaping, or external alcohol. The bride and groom are extending a fully open bar to all guests for the entirety of the reception.

Am I able to bring a change of clothes to the wedding reception?

Answer

No. Attire will be enforced by Wedding Planner for duration of event. You will be asked to change into proper attire if clothing changes are made into anything other than black-tie attire. Please ensure to wear comfortable black-tie attire.

What is considered black-tie attire?

Answer

Women: Formal (floor length) evening gown and heels or flats. No short dresses, sandals or boots. Men: Full tuxedo or full suit with tie. Dress shoes. No boots.

Are any colors excluded from attire?

Answer

Yes. Please do not plan to wear an outfit entirely comprised of any shade of white or ivory. These colors are reserved for bride and groom.

Where are the best places to stay if I am traveling for the wedding, and I want to be close to the ceremony and reception venue?

Answer

The best places to stay are in or near Coral Gables, Florida. The ceremony will take place at the Church of the Little Flower in Coral Gables and the venue is seven minutes away from the church.

What are some hotel accommodation options for Bridal Shower?

Answer

The bridal shower will take place at a venue approximately 40 minutes from Charlotte, NC. We recommend you locate a hotel in or near Gastonia, NC (closer to venue) or within Charlotte, NC if you would like to explore the city. There is no public transportation available to get to the venue. A rental car or Uber/Lyft will be the best sources of transport. The closest airport options are Charlotte International Airport and Concord Regional Airport (Allegiant Airline). A few hotel options in Gastonia, NC include: The Esquire Hotel Downtown Gastonia (walking distance to a variety shops and restaurants in heart of downtown Gastonia), Hilton Garden Inn Gastonia (walking distance to a Starbucks, Chick-fil-a, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Olive Garden) or Courtyard by Marriott Gastonia (walking distance to a Cracker Barrel). Some of Natalie and Michael's favorite restaurants around Gastonia, NC are Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen, Dino's Italian Restaurant, Webb's Custom Kitchen, Pita Wheel, De Coria’s Bagels & Breakfast 2, Azteca Mexican, Miami Fushion, and Portofino's.
