If you're flying to Colorado from out of state, you'll want to fly into Denver International Airport (DEN). The airport is about an hour away from Boulder by car, bus, or airport shuttle. The airport has been cursed (https://www.flydenver.com/great_hall/denfiles); be sure not to lock eyes with the sculpture of a rearing bronco you will pass when you hit the highway. The best home base for your trip will be Boulder, where lodging options are plentiful and include hotels and AirBnBs. Gold Hill, where the party will be, is about a twenty-five minute drive up into the mountains from Boulder. (There are no accommodations in Gold Hill, unless you are game to barter at the general store and are okay with the air flow in a yurt.) We will also be arranging for shuttles to help guests get from Boulder to Gold Hill in case you'd like to skip the mountain driving. Details below!

Hotel

St Julien Hotel & Spa

900 Walnut Street
Boulder, CO 80302
 (720) 406-9696

This is Boulder's swankiest hotel, with a beautiful pool and hot tubs, great dining, and direct views of the Flatirons, Boulder's iconic front range. It's also located on the Pearl Street Mall, the pedestrian thoroughfare through downtown Boulder that's the heart of dining, shopping, and a ton of great things to do.

Hotel

Hotel Boulderado

2115 13th Street
Boulder, CO 80302
 (303) 442-4344

Also located on the Pearl Street Mall, the Hotel Boulderado is an historic Victorian hotel that also features two restaurants and is convenient to all the best things to do in downtown Boulder.

Hotel

Hilton Garden Inn Boulder

2701 Canyon Boulevard
Boulder, CO 80302
 (303) 443-2200

This hotel is one of the newest in town. It's located in central Boulder, within walking distance to dining options, grocery stores, and other businesses (including the world's greatest hardware store, McGuckin's!). And it has an outdoor pool!

Hotel

Foot of the Mountain Motel

200 Arapahoe Avenue
Boulder, CO 80302
 (303) 442-5688

This quaint hotel has great rates and a great location; you can stroll down the adjacent Boulder Creek Path directly to the Pearl Street area. Basic on amenities and more rustic vibe; two larger suites are available with kitchens.

Shuttle

Shuttle to and from the Party

October 9, 2021 4:30 pm - 10:00 pm

In case you are uncomfortable with mountain driving, we've reserved two shuttle buses to help guests to get to and from the Gold Hill Inn. We will have limited space on these shuttles; when you RSVP, please let us know if we should save you and your party a seat. The shuttles will depart for the party from in front of the St. Julien Hotel (900 Walnut Street) at 4:30, and will make return trips from Gold Hill at 9:00 and at 10:00. If you have any questions about this, drop Emma a note at ekomloshrobs@gmail.com and we're glad to help.
