Andy and Ashley met at a Halloween Party in downtown Waukesha. Ashley went out with some friends, Andy went out for a beer. The two met through a mutual friend, and bonded talking about their work in healthcare. Andy asked for her phone number and the rest is history. He thought she would never text her back. He has never been so happy to be wrong. They continued to date over the next several years, while managing several life changes. Both worked on the front lines during the COVID 19 Pandemic; Ashley at Children's Hospital, Andy on the Ambulance. They both made career changes, went back to school, battled severe injuries sustained on the job, and grew together from these challenges. In November of 2024, the two went to Chicago for a weekend to see the German Christmas Market. While walking by Millennium Park, Andy surprised Ashley by proposing by an ice rink. She said yes! They're excited to celebrate their wedding day with their closest loved ones and the people that mean the most to them.
