Transportation: Getting around Cancun/ Playa Del Carmen

The easiest way to travel around the area is by taxi! Here are a few options: Option 1: Coordinate with a taxi driver via WhatsApp. This is the option we always go with. When you land, outside of arrivals there are a ton of taxis waiting there - these can be a pricier option depending how hard you negotiate with them, but it's convenient as it doesn't require any upfront coordination and it's reliable. Option 4: Getting anywhere from the Valentin - the resort can help coordinate a taxi for you, especially to get back to the airport! We recommend coordinating one earlier in your stay as it can take a minute for the taxi to arrive. As a reminder, we will be providing transportation to the venue for the wedding night on the 31st, so if you're staying at the Valentin, all you'll need to arrange is travel from and to the airport.

Main Hotel: Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya - All Inclusive Resort

We are excited to share we've secured a room block at the beautiful Valentin Imperial Rivera Maya resort for our wedding group. The Valentin Imperial is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort in Riviera Maya that boasts a private beach, 8 restaurants, 11 bars, 24/7 all included premium room service, fitness/wellness offerings, a theater with nightly live shows, and one of the largest pools in Mexico! Secondary Hotel: Residence Inn by Marriott Cancun

We understand that the Valentin Imperial may not suit all schedules and needs, but we would still love for you to come and celebrate with us! As a secondary option, we recommend staying at the Residence Inn by Marriott. This hotel has a rooftop pool overlooking the ocean and is a short drive from the Cancun airport! If you stay at this option, you are welcome to attend the Wedding Eve Cocktails on December 30th and the main wedding ceremony + celebration on December 31st. Transportation to and from the wedding venue on December 31st will be provided (about ~30 min drive).
