In a tale as old as time, we met right online! Both in a time of transition, neither of us were in search of a long-term relationship. Our hope was to meet someone we connected with and spend some time getting to know each other. After talking every day for three weeks, we finally met in-person. Neither of us could have predicted how instantly we would fall for each other. From our very first date, the chemistry between us was electric. The days, weeks and months passed, and what felt fast to the world around us, felt like forever to us. We introduced the boys, first to each of us, then to each other. We brought Maddy into the mix. She was a hit from the start (no shock there). And then we moved in! Archer loved his new room upstairs and a bathroom for just him and Zach. Zach loved having, objectively the best room in the house. The boys became brothers right away, which only brought us even closer together. A year full of holidays, vacations, lazy Sundays and home-cooked dinners later, we went away for an anniversary trip to Cape May. We spent the day doing fun and wonderful things with each other. Visiting the best candy store in the world (Cape May Peanut Butter Company), the North Wildwood Lighthouse and Cape May Winery. When leaving the winery, Chris dropped to one knee and asked the biggest question of our lives. Steph said yes, and here we are!
