Can I bring my kids?

Answer

Due to limited seating and capacity, we are only able to accommodate immediate family children unless otherwise stated on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding and invite you to take this opportunity to enjoy a night off to be fully present during our wedding and have fun!

What is parking like?

Answer

While there is enough parking to accommodate our guests, we still encourage families to carpool as much as possible to allow space for vendors to get in and out throughout the night. We request that you park close to the cars around you to make sure that we have room for everyone's vehicles. The parking lot is an open gravel lot with additional parking up a small hill.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony begins at 4:30 pm, so please arrive no later than 4:15 pm to provide time for walking in and finding a seat before the ceremony starts.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Wear what you want (within reason, of course). A nice shirt with jeans or slacks, dresses, jumpsuits, skirts, etc. are all welcome. We care more that you feel confident and enjoy celebrating with us than what you wear! There are paved walkways throughout the venue, so heels are easily wearable on the premise. Seating for the ceremony will be set up on grass, however there is a concrete sidewalk that guests can walk up to the seating are on.

What can I expect on the drive up?

Answer

Pilot Hill sits between auburn and placerville. You can take I-80 or hwy 50 to reach Hwy 49. Coming from I-80 there is a short, 10 minute section of curvy, mountainous road then it opens up again into wide, straighter roads.

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

We will be providing a hearty Italian dinner with a few pasta selections, chicken, a couple green salad options, and fresh baguette bread with butter.
