This is one of our favorite restaurants to bring guests to! If you're looking for delicious ramen or sushi, this is your place. Definitely would recommend making a reservation a few weeks out, as the wait can get pretty long.
Another one of our East Side favorites, Butcher & Bee has amazing small plates that are perfect for sharing. Don't leave without trying their infamous whipped feta and hummus. Another place we'd recommend making a reservation in advance!
The line will be around the block, but if you're looking to try Nashville's famous Hot Chicken, you can't miss Hattie B's. You'll be safe ordering Mild or Medium, but if you're feeling brave, go for the Hot or the Shut the Cluck Up.
Looking for vegetarian and vegan options? Graze has you covered. Great for lunch, we'd recommend any of their sandwiches. You can't go wrong!
Butchertown Hall is located in Germantown, and it's where we went all the time when we lived in our first apartment. They have great food and even better cocktails: Ryan loves the Margarita and Cristina loves the Floxglove.
One of the trendiest places in Nashville, Pinewood Social is a great place to go for lunch, dinner, or after-dinner drinks. Complete with a swimming pool and a bowling alley, Pinewood Social is one of Nashville's most popular destinations. And be sure to keep your eyes peeled - it's a common place for a celebrity viewing!
We met at Vanderbilt University, and if you haven't been, it's a must-see. The campus is beautiful and holds many happy memories for us both. And don't miss the bookstore, where you can buy all of the Vanderbilt swag you could ever imagine.
The Frist Family is well known in Nashville - in fact, we both work for companies owned by a Frist! The museum is a great time, and well worth the price of admission.
Founded in an 1885 tent revival, The Ryman was home to concerts performed by the likes of Elvis and Johnny Cash. Nicknamed the "Mother Church", The Ryman is located in Downtown Nashville near Broadway. If you can catch a show while you're in town, we'd highly recommend it!
Olive & Sinclair is known for their various different takes on artisan chocolate bars. Flavors range from sea salt to cinnamon chilis. Located in the heart of East Nashville, the tour of the factory will satisfy that sweet tooth craving! Tour tickets should be purchased in advance on their website.
Right in the heart of downtown Nashville, the Music City Walk of Fame is located in a small park next to the Country Music Hall of Fame. If you are a music fan at all, it's for sure worth visiting!
Bicentennial State Park will always hold a special place in our hearts, as it was one of our favorite places to walk around when we lived in Germantown. Don't miss out on all of the history this park holds, and the great views of the Capital Building (and the Sheraton!).
Check the hours before you go, but if you time your visit to the Christie Cookie factory just right, you can get a cookie fresh out of the oven! Germantown is a wonderful neighborhood for walking around, and this would be an excellent place to start or end your visit.
Here's a fun fact: we almost got married here! Located in Marathon Music Village, Nelson's Green Brier is actually the home of Belle Meade Bourbon. The tour and tasting give great insight into Nashville's history. And if time allows, snap a picture in front of the "I Believe in Nashville" sign next door, at Marathon Music Works!
Bearded Iris is Cristina's favorite brewery in Nashville. Known for their hazy IPAs and hoppy beer, Bearded Iris has built quite a national following. Be sure to try the classic Homestyle IPA, or any of their specialty collabs with local products (Christie's Cookies, anyone?).
Diskin Cider is Nashville's first (and only) cidery! Their ciders range from your traditional apple cider to a "Six One Five" Sweet Tea cider that is a taste of the south.
