Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Please plan to attend the Wedding Welcome Party and Dinner on Saturday. Everyone invited to the wedding is also encouraged to attend. We want to spend as much time as possible with everyone! If you arrive early, on Friday night, we are planning on heading over to McNulty's Taproom around 7 and listening to live music, having a few drinks, and playing cornhole and throw axes on the back deck. All are welcome!

When should I RSVP by?

We will be sending out invitations closer to the date. Please plan to RSVP by September 1st.

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Thank you for asking! We are registered at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, but since are currently in the middle of a home remodel and going on a honeymoon very far away from Alaska, we would greatly appreciate cash and gift cards to places like Costco, Home Depot, and Lowe's. Everything is much appreciated. Thank you so much!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all kids (I'm a teacher!), we would like our celebrations to be adults only except for a few family members. We thank you for your understanding.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We are planning to setup a block in Blythewood, SC in July. Blythewood is currently building two new hotels and neither one of them are allowing reservations yet.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive to the church by 12:45. Please check your GPS as the ceremony is at a country church and it may take you longer than you anticipate to get there.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

All of the events will have parking. If celebrating and day drinking gets the best of you on Sunday, we will have a car ready to take you to your hotel in Blythewood. You can leave your car overnight and we will coordinate rides back to get it on Monday morning.
