What will the weather be like?

Answer

All events will be both inside and outside. Typical weather in Virginia that time of year is mid-50s to mid 70s.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If "and Guest" is added next to your name on the wedding invitation, then yes. Otherwise, no.

What is the wedding dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire! The ceremony will take place in a grassy meadow, and the reception will be indoors so ladies may want to consider wearing certain shoes such as flats or wedges if walking on grass is a concern.

How should we get to the events?

Answer

For Friday's Welcome Party, you will need to drive or use a rideshare like Uber or Lyft to get to Fleetwood Farm & Winery. For Saturday's Wedding, either car pool or use the shuttle service from the Tru by Hilton Ashburn One Loudoun hotel to and from the venue. This service is available to ALL wedding guests, not just to those staying at the hotel. You can park in the paeking lot for Tru by Hilton, and there is also a parking garage in the shopping center next to the hotel if you need to leave a car. Our venue hosts at The Oak Barn tell us that rideshare is unreliable and should not be used for wedding night.

Can I bring my young children?

Answer

Yes, though please make sure we know that you'll be attending with your kiddos! If you're planning to bring children to the wedding, and you did not see your child's name when you RSVP'd, that means that the Bride and Groom were not aware that you were going to bring them, so please get in touch with Cristina and Lyle as soon as possible so that we can update our seating chart and have enough chairs at your assigned table! We can also provide recommendations regarding babysitting services as an alternative.
