Guanajuato International Airport (BJX) or Queretaro International Airport (QRO)

BJX is the primary airport to get to San Miguel, however, you can also go through QRO. QRO is a smaller airport but closer to San Miguel. Prices vary depending on original destination. We suggest you try both and see what works best. Guests will need to take a taxi or shuttle from the airport to San Miguel which is about a 45-60 minute drive. Please be sure to select a flight that does not arrive later than 7pm as shuttles will not run late night. For your return flight, remember you will need to account for drive time from San Miguel to the airport. Transportation is being scheduled for all guests unless you have otherwise advised the bride or groom you do not need it. The agency will have tour flight info and cost will be anywhere between $16-20 per person depending on how many per vehicle. Airbnb - San Miguel de Allende

Several groups have decide to rent an Airbnb instead of a hotel as it may be more economical and also easier for individuals to stay together. There are several really great options just blocks from the church and venue.

Rental Cars and Cabs

There are cabs and Uber available throughout the city at low cost and most speak English. The airport does have car rental options should you wish to travel outside of San Miguel. Our recommendation is that if you are to stay in San Miguel for the entirety of your trip, a rental is not necessary.
