As of March 2021: No, you do not have to have a negative COVID test to fly to Mexico from the United States.
As of June 2021: Yes, you do need a negative COVID test to travel from Mexico to the United States within 72 hours from departure. Every hotel will have the ability to offer a test before your departure. For those who are renting an Airbnb for the wedding, we will have a service available at the welcome reception in case you would like to get a test then. Cost will be about $65. If you are staying longer in Mexico, that same service can do house calls and you can get their information and give them a call when you are ready. Otherwise, you can also get at test at the airport but may be a much higher price.
Please be sure to RSVP with your flight number and number of guests attending. We will have a reserved car service to take guests from the airport to your hotel for a nominal fee (between $16-20 per person). They have everyone’s flight info and will accept dollars or pesos. There will be signs to direct you to the shuttle. No need to rent a car unless you have other travel plans as all of our festivities are within the city. The first event of the celebration will be taking place Friday at 5:00pm so please allow ample time to settle in if you plan on arriving on Friday. Please be sure to book your flight not to arrive past 6:00pm as it takes anywhere from 40-60 minutes to travel from the airport to the city.
Attire is formal i.e. suit, tux, formal dresses
Traditional attire for the callejoneada is white/beige. For examples, we have seen girls wear summer dresses and men wear khaki pants with white linen shirts.
Every guest who is not already listed with a spouse or partner will be able to bring a plus one to our wedding. Please be sure to include their name when you RSVP via mail.
We will have a complimentary taxi service that will shuttle everyone to the venue directly following the church ceremony. The same service will be available to everyone once the wedding reception is over at a nominal fee or you can also take an Uber back to your hotel.
