Maid of Honor
When I look back at all the most important parts of my life, Elisa has been there with me through it all. After becoming friends in Mr. Schmidt's 4th grade class, I went away to a different school for a few years but when I came back to the school district, we picked up right where we left off and it was like no time had passed at all. We grew closer in high school and were soon "those best friends" as we would pretty much match outfits every day (not on purpose) and spend every class we had together getting in trouble for talking. As we entered a new stage in life and became real "adults", we also became roommates in Seattle where we truly went through everything together. It really was a dream come true as two best friends living in the big city :) I can't wait to see where our friendship goes in the next stage of our lives!
Best Man
Casey and I met while in the army at Fort Lewis and at first, he didn't talk very much (he says he didn't trust us but I know he was just shy). After getting to know Casey better, he has become a good friend and very trust worthy. Recently he has been exploring the world going to some amazing locations! I'm excited he will be attending as my best man!
Bridesmaid
Sara's been my close friend for over 6 years and even though she and my brother just made her officially my sister-in-law, I've always seen her as a sister I've never had! Sara and I first met each other when my brother brought her to a family trip in Hawaii and I remember thinking how easily she fit in with us and how it felt like I had known her for years instead of just meeting her. Throughout the years we've shared memories like going to Singapore or Disneyland but some of the most important times I look back on with Sara is us just spending countless hours talking about any and everything. Whenever we get into one of our deep talks, it seems like we always plan another trip or end up falling over with laughter over something. I knew within the first few times of meeting Sara that she was going to be a big part of our lives and I'm so excited that we're going to be family forever!
Groomsman
Grimm and I met while working at AMR together. At first, I thought he was just an old guy (which in fact he is). But as I got to know him, we became great friends and shared many memories together while working at AMR. Grimm was a corpsman while in the Navy around the same time I was in the Army and we connected through the love of the military, medicine, and technology.
Bridesmaid
Kim and I met when I was about 2 years old or so. She and her family lived across from my childhood home in our little cul-de-sac. Ever since I was little I remember running around our neighborhood together as we tried to keep up with all the boys (rocco, bo, and pax). When we were sick of playing with the boys, we'd find ourselves indulging in "girly" things and stay up late doing each other's hair and nails like we were going to a big event (even though we were definitely 12/13 and didn't have any event to go to). Kim was always the bigger sister I always wanted and I remember going to her for various advice I needed throughout my life. Although life has made it where we're far apart, I always know Kim will be there for me whenever I need her!
Groomsman
Pax and I met about 5 years ago, after I started dating his sister (my lovely bride). Through the years we have made some pretty cool memories, one of those I almost died. I was excited he asked me to be in his wedding party and I am very grateful he said yes to being in mine as well. I can't wait to be able to call him my brother, officially! (even though I already call their parents mom and dad)
Bridesman
Rocco is so much more than my cousin. With our birthday's only 11 days apart, he was my first best friend. Growing up, we lived right next to each other (literally a house a part) and spent basically everyday going from seeing each other at school to then going home and spending the rest of the day playing around the neighborhood. We'd spend hours riding our bikes around, playing at the local park and sometimes even have sleepovers where we'd pitch tents up in the house and make forts out of pillows and blankets. I couldn't have picked a better first best friend and I'm so thankful that our relationship has just grown throughout the years.
Groomsman
I met "Tuna" while at AMR because i trained him, which is why he is such a fantastic EMT. Tuna has a wife and kid with another little one on the way! We both went to and finished paramedic school together and are moving onto bigger and better things! I'm excited to see him grow and develop into an amazing paramedic and father. From all the study sessions we did together with Tim to the long drives to and from portland for school on top of working together at AMR, I feel we have become really great friends!
Bridesmaid
Macy is my little cousin but she's also one of my dearest friends. We've grown closer throughout adulthood and even though she's in California for school I know she's always just a text away! Macy is one of those people who never ever says anything negative about anyone and I know whenever I talk to her, she always brightens up my day! Whether it's going to the farmers market, shopping around the mall or gushing about BTS, we always have a blast together no matter what we do!
Groomsman
Henry and I met while in the army at Fort Lewis and immediately became friends. Henry is very outgoing and kind hearted and always wants the best for people. We have shared more than a few good cries together. He's currently married with several kids and is now working as a drill sergeant. No matter the time between seeing each other or talking, it feels like it has only been days and we can still joke around and poke fun at each other like always.
Best Dog
Atlas is our 3 year old Husky/German Shepherd pup! He was a craigslist puppy and we met him in a Target parking lot at around 10PM. As cliche as it sounds, the second we saw him, we knew he was ours. That night, our lives were forever changed for the better. After many chewed up shoes and some bathroom mishaps, Atlas has become an integral part of our whole family and we truly couldn't imagine our lives without him!
